I had unprotected sexual contact on the 25th of March. I believe my cycle usually lasts for about 24 days, and I had had my last period on the 14-16th of February. I was worried I might be pregnant, so I took a pill after almost 68 hours (very late). Then I got my next period on the 16th of March, but it was lighter than usual, it had dark blood and some clots though. For some reason, I feel worried, so I bought a few HPT, all came back negative, however I know there's errors in taking them and so on. So I also took a blood test on the 2nd of April, beta HCG, result was 1.2mlUL. This would suggest I cannot be pregnant from what I have read, however I got a bleeding on the 7th of April, it lasted only a day, it was a flow, not a spotting, but it was scarce and I couldn't observe any clots. Do you think I could still be pregnant? Could I be having an ectopic pregnancy at such low lvls of HGC? How soon can I take a transabdominal ecogaphy to check, and should I?
Any help would be greatly. Disclaimer : The content is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Usually a beta HCG less than 5 miu/ml is interpreted as 'negative' for pregnancy . It is important for all tests to be interpreted with the clinical history and physical examination..
