I went to HMV in London a while back. My CD design was right there next to Black Sabbath... it was awesome...

Black #5 - Last Few Hours

Black #5
Last Few Hours

A 12-page full colour album sleeve. As well as the layout I produced the effects on the front cover, using Photoshop and InDesign. Please note the pseudonym in the credits.

Black #5 - Armies / This Petty Trial

Black #5 Single
Armies / This Petty Trial

This was the first single to be taken from the album Last Few Hours. A simple j-card insert and CD design. I also shot all of the photographs for the inner and outer covers.

Black #5 - Print / Poster Campaign

Black #5 Flyer & Poster Campaign

Posters and flyers were produced to be placed in venues and cities that the band were playing in. The design was a continuation of the brand identity that I had developed with the album cover and the web site.

Contraband - The Day That Dudley Died

Contraband's first and only single (not my fault...). I was employed by the band to produce a two-side CD insert.

Web Design Commentary
Thoughts on my web design work

I'm very proud of my print work. I have produced artwork for signed acts that can be found in music stores such as HMV & Virgin Stores.

It's cool walking into Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street in London and showing off my artwork to people looking at Black Sabbath CD's. I have also done poster and flyer work.

I have recently become interested in typography and publishing concepts. My primary tools include: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Fireworks.
